Warranty
How manufacturer warranties, our installation warranty and certified pre owned coverage work.
Last updated: September 19, 2026
1. Manufacturer Warranties
New equipment carries the warranty provided by its manufacturer, commonly one year on parts and labor with extended terms on specific components such as compressors, which frequently carry three to five years. Those warranties belong to you. We register them where registration is required, supply the documentation at handover and help you file a claim if something fails.
2. How Manufacturer Claims Work
Most commercial equipment is serviced under warranty by a factory authorized service agent in your area rather than by the seller. When you have a warranty failure, contact us and we will identify the correct authorized agent, provide the model and serial details and stay involved until it is resolved. Warranty service is generally performed during normal business hours, and after hours service is usually chargeable even on a covered unit.
3. Our Installation Warranty
Where we perform installation, we warrant our installation workmanship for 90 days from startup. If equipment fails because of how we assembled, leveled or set it up, we return and correct it at no charge. Work performed by licensed trades on your project carries that trade's own warranty.
4. Certified Pre Owned Coverage
Certified pre owned equipment is inspected, tested under power and cleaned before delivery, and carries a 30 day limited parts warranty from us unless a longer term is stated on your invoice. Used equipment is sold as inspected, and normal cosmetic wear is expected and not a defect.
5. What Is Not Covered
- Damage in transit, which is handled as a freight claim under our Shipping and Returns policy
- Improper installation by others, including connection errors
- Lack of routine cleaning and maintenance, including dirty condenser coils and clogged filters
- Damage from power surges, brownouts, water supply issues, scale or poor water quality
- Damage from flooding, storms, hurricanes, lightning or pests
- Misuse, abuse, overloading or operating equipment with a known fault
- Normal wear items such as gaskets, filters, belts, light bulbs, knobs and grates
- Equipment relocated, modified or repaired by unauthorized parties
- Food loss, spoilage, lost revenue or business interruption of any kind
6. Conditions
- The invoice must be paid in full for warranty support to apply.
- Equipment must be installed and operated per manufacturer instructions.
- Warranty applies at the original delivery address unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Coverage is extended to the original purchaser and is generally not transferable.
7. Protecting Your Coverage
Most warranty denials we see come down to maintenance. Clean condenser coils monthly, keep door gaskets clean and intact, replace water filters on schedule, do not spray down equipment that is not rated for it, and keep a simple maintenance log. That log is also the fastest way to win a disputed claim.
